New Jersey State Police are looking for the public’s help with catching two men who stole crabmeat, steaks, and fruit from the Acme Supermarket in Upper Township. Police say the theft occurred on Sunday, August 11th shortly before 10pm. Police have released photos taken from surveillance cameras.
Cape May City Police are warning motorists about major traffic delays on Elmira Street in the coming days. Atlantic City Electric will be performing work at a substation on the street which will result in the street being closed heading into Cape May from Park Boulevard.
Lower Township Police announced they have arrested more than 20 individuals this month on charges of driving under the influence. The arrests involve those under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. Police say if anyone spots an erratic driver, call police immediately.
Nancy Pelosi is coming to Atlantic City. The House Speaker has confirmed that she will visit the annual meeting of the state’s democratic party in late September. The meeting is held just weeks before the key legislative elections in early November.
31 year old Kevin Waters was arrested and charged with visiting a Harley Davidson dealership in Atlantic County, and jumping on a bike and speeding off..the bike was not his. Galloway Township Police say Waters got on the bike Monday afternoon and drove it home. That’s where police arrested him on numerous charges.
