40 non-residential Superfund sites are being cleaned up in Vineland. The Environmental Protection Agency says these sites are affiliated with the former Kil-Tone pesticide company that operated in the city. Sites have been contaminated with arsenic and lead.
West Wildwood needs to fill a position on its Borough Commission, and the deadline for interested residents to get on the ballot is September 3rd. Indian Trail Road in Middle Township could be the site of a medical marijuana facility. Township officials will hold a public information meeting on August 5th to discuss the proposal from INSA, a cannabis cultivation and distribution company. A 25 year old man was stabbed during a large fight at the Claridge Casino in Atlantic City Sunday morning. The fight involved multiple individuals and the investigation into the cause of the fight continues. The stabbing victim’s injuries are not life=threatening.
