MURPHY SIGNS BILL THAT REVAMPS MEDICAL MARIJUANA PROGRAM

Governor Phil Murphy has signed a new bill that greatly expands the medical marijuana program in the Garden State.  The new bill overhauls the program and will likely result in dozens of additional medical marijuana providers; currently, only six are in business.

STATE IMPROVES TRAFFIC CONGESTION WEBSITE IN ADVANCE OF JULY 4TH

New Jersey has made some big improvements to its traffic congestion website in advance of the July 4th holiday weekend.  The website 511NJ.org has been enhanced to be viewable on mobile devices and has upgraded traffic cameras.  The site provides real-time updates on traffic congestion issues related to volume, accidents, construction, and other matters.

CAPE COUNSELING SERVICES PART OF THREE COMPANY MERGER

Cape Counseling Services is now part of a three-company merger that forms a larger behavioral health care organization.  The new company is called Acenda Integrated Health.  The company will have 56 locations through a ten county region, including Cape May County.

NORTH WILDWOOD PARTNERS WITH COMPANY TO PAY FOR PARKING VIA MOBILE PHONE

North Wildwood has partnered with a private company to provide the ability to pay for parking via a smart phone.  The new service is in place at over 1,200 single and multi vehicle parking spaces throughout the city.  Mayor Patrick Rosenello says the new mobile app will help residents locate, and pay, for parking.

OPEN AGAIN! SOME CREST BEACHES OPEN AFTER A ONE DAY CLOSURE
