Wildwood Crest has a new emergency management coordinator. Crest officials named Ron Harwood to the post, replacing Police Chief Joseph McGrath. Harwood serves the Crest as its Fire Chief. The move was made during the January 2nd Commissioners’ meeting.
One person was reportedly killed during a house fire in Lower Township Friday morning. Various reports suggest the fire occurred in the Villas, on Florida Road, and was brought under control. Lower Township Police will release more information about the fire later today.
