The National Weather Service has posted a Coastal Flood Watch for the Jersey Shore for Saturday morning’s high tide. A coastal storm is expected to bring some flooding in flood prone areas at time of high tide Saturday, expected to be shortly after 10am in many back bay areas.

A former longtime commissioner for the Borough of West Wildwood has passed away at the age of 72. William Braker served as the Commissioner of Revenue and Finance for the community from 1974 through 1996. Services will be held Friday morning at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood.
