COUNTY TO BEGIN RABIES BAIT PROGRAM, 31,000 TO BE DROPPED

Cape May County is ready to drop more than 31,000 rabies baits throughout our region.  The bait will be dropped largely through helicopter and will help prevent the spread of rabies through raccoons and other wildlife.  The bait will be dropped during the week of September 24th, weather permitting.

The National Bicycle Dealers Association has named a local business as one of the best bicycle retailers in the entire country.  Zippy’s Bikes in Wildwood was one of only three stores in the State of New Jersey to receive this designation.  The Association has been promoting the interests of cycling since 1946.

STANDOFF ENDS IN MILLVILLE, SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

BARRICADE SITUATION UNDERWAY IN MILLVILLE

Millville Police are dealing with a barricade situation in the community.  It began late Monday afternoon when police told neighbors to evacuate their homes.  Someone inside one of the homes is barricaded inside, and a three block area near Second Street and Wheaton Avenue has been blocked off.
