OCEAN CITY TO PURCHASE SITE OF FORMER CAR DEALERSHIP

Ocean City intends to purchase a nearly two acre site that used to be the home of a car dealership.  Council has authorized the purchase of the property on first reading; Mayor Jay Gillian says the property can be used for open space, parking, recreation, or for the home of a new police station.

NJ MAN SHOT IN GAMING TOURNAMENT UNDERGOES SURGERY

A Middletown, New Jersey man was among those who were shot during a video game tournament in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday.  George Amadeo was shot in the ankle when a gunman who participated in the tournament opened fire.  Amadeo was expected to undergo surgery Monday in Florida for his injury.
