JUST HORRIBLE: LOCAL MAN ACCUSED OF STEALING DEAD COP’S PENSION CHECKS

A 58 year old Egg Harbor Township man is accused of swiping $22,000 worth of pension checks that were intended to go to the children of a deceased police officer.  Mark Johnson is charged with taking six checks and depositing them into his account.  The charges were made by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

It’s a salad topping that you probably could live without.  A customer at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Deptford Township consumed most of his salad before he recognized cow doo in his salad.  A lawsuit has been filed against the restaurant and against Taylor Farms in New Jersey.

NJ TRANSIT DELAYS TO BE ADDRESSED IN TRENTON THURSDAY

Massive problems with New Jersey Transit will be discussed in Trenton on Thursday.  Lawmakers will address various delays on northern New Jersey rail lines and the planned closures for the Atlantic City train station.  A joint hearing will be held in the legislature Thursday morning.

LOBIONDO IN ATLANTIC CITY THURSDAY FOR FLOOD GATE PROJECT

Congressman Frank LoBiondo will join Atlantic City Mayor Frank Gilliam Thursday afternoon for the official ribbon cutting of the flood gate and pump station project at Fisherman’s Park.  The project was funded with federal dollars and will help prevent some flooding in sections of the city.
