New Jersey State Police have wrapped up a six-month investigation and charged two Cumberland County men with significant drugs and weapons offenses. Police say 36 year old Felix Davila of Bridgeton and 23 year old Kenneth Ortiz of Vineland were slapped with numerous offenses. Police recovered handguns, heroin, cocaine and other narcotics.
Some very good news for Atlantic City casinos as they saw their gross operating profits rise by over 22 percent during 2017. The Associated Press reports that the final figures put the profits at $723 million. Two new casinos are set to open in the gaming resort this year.
The Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Course may now be sold. The Board of Trustees met Monday and approved the sale of the property and additional details about the sale are expected in the coming weeks. Stockton has owned the property for the past eight years.
