A 56 year old Somers Point man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing a man at The Walk in Atlantic City back in 2016. Luis Maisonet was sentenced to the life term on Friday. Maisonet shot and killed 26 year old Christopher Romero of Absecon.

New Jersey State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday evening in Woodbine. Police say one person was shot near Franklin Street and Adams avenue. Police say there is no threat to the public; the victim was airlifted to a regional hospital.
