FALLEN HERO PLUNGE ARRIVES SATURDAY IN NORTH WILDWOOD

One of the biggest special events in the Wildwoods during the winter comes on Saturday with the annual Fallen Heroes Polar Bear Plunge on the 15th Avenue beach in North Wildwood.  The event raises money for families who lost police officers in the line of duty.  Event registration occurs this week at fallenheroplunge.com.

50 YEAR OLD MAN CHARGED WITH BURGLARIZING THREE BUSINESSES

Atlantic City Police charged a 50 year old local man with burglarizing three different businesses.  Police say James Mason was captured with the help of a video camera.  Among the businesses burglarized by Mason was the Rainforest Cafe on the city’s boardwalk.

CAPE MAY TO WELCOME THREE NEW COPS TUESDAY EVENING

Cape May is ready to welcome three new police officers during its meeting Tuesday night.  Nicholas Campanella, Cory Hofmann, and Emmanuel Mendez will also be introduced to the public.  Cape May may also introduce a new bond ordinance that would pay for preliminary expenses related to the construction of a new public safety building.

OVERNIGHT FIRE DEVASTATES SOUTH JERSEY AMBULANCE COMPANY

A devastating fire overnight destroyed an ambulance company in South Jersey.  Flames broke out at the Woodstown American Legion Ambulance Association in Woodstown early this morning.  The building has been destroyed and many ambulances went up in fire.  No word yet on what caused the fire.
