Cape May County Freeholder Marie Hayes has been selected to serve as the 2nd Vice President on the New Jersey Association of Counties. The Board advocates for the services and mission of county governments. Hayes is the only representative on the Board from our region.
New Jersey Governor-elect Phil Murphy is in Puerto Rico today to discuss hurricane relief efforts. Puerto Rico was battered by Hurricane Maria in September and recovery has been slow. More than 20 individuals are part of Murphy’s delegation, including his wife.
The annual Pinch the Grinch 5K run in the Wildwoods will be held Sunday. The run was postponed from last weekend due to a snowfall. The run will kick off at 10:00am, with registration one hour earlier.
Time for more snow. Accu Weather exclusively reports on Coastal Broadcasting Systems that the Jersey Shore could receive between one to three inches of snow and a Winter Weather Advisory has been posted. The Advisory is in effect on Friday between the hours of 1:00-9:00pm.
