A portion of Route 47 in Middle Township was closed for two hours Sunday afternoon following an accident between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. Traffic was diverted near Dias Creek Road following the accident; no word of the identities or injuries suffered by those involved.

Cape May is considering plans for a new public safety complex to be located at a location to be determined in the city.
