A big upset in local high school basketball last night as Cape May Tech knocked off Wildwood Catholic in boys action, 67-66.  Josh Wright hit a basket with four seconds left to capture the victory for the Hawks.  Wildwood Catholic had entered the game as one of the top teams in South Jersey.

CANDLELIGHT VIGIL HELD FOR MURDER VICTIM

A candlelight vigil was held Thursday night in Commercial Township for a woman who was allegedly murdered by her husband.  Friends gathered to remember the life of Tara O’Shea at her home in Commercial Township.  Authorities believe her husband, Jeremiah Monell, killed O’Shea in front of their son; he remains on the run from police.
