A second suspect has been arrested in a shooting from Sept. 17. Atlantic City Police say they took Adalberto Tobi, from Atlantic City into custody. A man found guilty of killing a teenager in Wildwood in 2013 had his appeal to overturn a conviction rejected. The Star-Ledger reports a state appeals court made the ruling this week on Alberto Martinez. He tripped and 19-year-old Vincent DeSario along with his friends laughed. Martinez then beat DeSario to death with a bat.
More than half of the bears killed during last year’s bear hunting season have been killed during the first half of this year’s season. The bow-and-arrow three day session saw 339 bears killed this year versus 510 last year in total.
