One person was killed during a weekend shooting in Pleasantville. It happened late Saturday afternoon near Merion and Linden avenues in the city. Police say the man was shot multiple times and died at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. The victim’s name has not been released; no suspects have been arrested.
Private emails belonging to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be searched. A judge ruled that a public records request by a northern New Jersey newspaper was not complete and the paper has the right to access Christie’s private emails. Christie’s office declined comment on the ruling.
