The shopping center in Cape May Court House that includes an Acme Supermarket has been sold. RW Capital Partners Inc. bought the shopping center for just more than $32 million this month. The center includes the supermarket, a Marshalls, Staples, and a few vacant storefronts that were occupied by Blockbuster Video and Radio Shack.
There could be a small tax increase in Ocean City this year. Council introduced a new budget that totals $75.1 million that would raise the local purpose tax rate by nearly a penny. A public hearing and final vote on the budget comes April 14th.
The United States Coast Guard is searching for three to four missing boaters off the coast of Brigantine today. The Guard was notified of a capsized fishing vessel and immediately began a search with two boats, a helicopter, and an airplane. The search is focused on an area about a half mile off the coastline.
