UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPS, JOB GROWTH UP IN NEW JERSEY

More than 16,000 jobs were added in Oct., in one of the better job months recently for New Jersey. The new unemployment rate dropped to 5.4 percent, which marks a 1.1 percent decline since May. Revised figures from Sept. also added 3,300 jobs, which brings a total of 8,000 new jobs added in Sept.
