NEW JERSEY’S CREDIT RATING DROPPED AGAIN BY MOODY’S

New Jersey’s credit has been dropped for the ninth time under the leadership of Governor Chris Christie.  Moody’s Investors Services on Friday dropped the state’s credit rating from A1 to A2 due largely to the unfunded liabilites in the pension system.  Moody’s warns future downgrades are possible if the state continues in this direction.

FIRED! FLYERS CAN HEAD COACH CRAIG BERUBE

Craig Berube is no longer the coach of the Philadelphia Flyers.  Flyers General Manager Ron Hextall announced on Friday that Berube was relieved of his duties as the 18th coach in Flyers history. He was named the Flyers’ coach in October, 2013.  He won 55 percent of his games as coach of the team.
