OCEAN CITY MAYOR TO DELIVER BUDGET ADDRESS THURSDAY NIGHT

Thursday night is budget night in Ocean City.  Mayor Jay Gillian will deliver his budget message during the Ocean City Council meeting at the Ocean City Library.  Council will also discuss changes to zoning and land use codes, and make appointments to various boards.  The meeting begins at 7pm.

There’s plan before Vineland officials that would allow billboards to be constructed along portions of Route 55.  The Daily Journal of Vineland reports that Mayor Ruben Bermudez is supporting one or two billboards along the toll-free highway.  At least once member of his Council calls billboards “ugly” and a threat to driver safety.
