MANUEL OUT AS PHILLIES MANAGER

The Philadelphia Phillies announced that Charlie Manuel is no longer the manager of their team. The team has announced Ryne Sandberg as the interim manager. Manuel had led the team since 2005 and won a World Series in 2008. The change is effective immediately. He finishes with a record of 780-636 in Philadelphia.
