ZAPPED: LIGHTNING STRIKES EMPTY LIFEGUARD STAND IN CAPE MAY

An empty life guard stand on a largely empty Cape May beach on Sunday was hit by a powerful bolt of lightning.  The lightning strike was caught on security camera and pieces of the wooden stand were found next to it following the strike.  There were no injuries, and no guard were on the stand at the time of the strike.
