WORSHIP SERVICES HELD AT SITE OF CHURCH FIRE

Church services were held on Sunday at the South Seaville United Methodist Church…outdoors on the lawn under a tent. The church, built in 1884, was destroyed by fire early Friday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but is not suspicious, according to the Ocean Volunteer Fire Company. Congregational leaders are meeting today to plan for the future of of the church and decide where to hold worship services.
