WOODBINE TO RECEIVE $2 MILLION IN GRANTS TO REPAIR WATER SYSTEM

Thursday is a big day for the Borough of Woodbine. The U.S. Department of Agriculture will be announcing grants and affordable loans totaling over $2 million to upgrade their aging water system and community food pantry. After the announcement the public can join state and local officials for a tour of the Historic Woodbine Firehouse & original Borough Hall, and view articfacts that are on display for Woodbine’s Quasquicentennial Celebration. The funds will be used to make critical repairs and improvements to the Borough’s existing water treatment and distribution system.
