WOODBINE TO INTRODUCE BUDGET WILL NO INCREASE

mayorThe residents of Woodbine will once again experience no tax increase. Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky tells Coastal Broadcasting that the budget will be introduced on Thursday and it will keep the tax rate the same. Pikolycky says that eight percent less surplus is going to be used year-to-year, while still maintaining a healthy capitol improvement plan. The Mayor said the really good news for those is Woodbine is the school’s proposed budget has no tax increase as well, so taxes should be on pace to remain the same in the borough. Pikolycky said the borough may wait until the state budget is passed before a final adoption takes place for the borough’s budget, in case any last minute changes take place.
