WOODBINE SWEARS IN NEW OFFICERS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT

Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky announced the officers of the Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department at their recent annual installation dinner. Swearing in the officers was State Senator Jeff Van Drew. Assemblyman Bob Andrzejczak was also in attendance. Line Officers are: Chief, Manuel Gonzalez.; Assistant Chief, Jose Santiago; Captain, Douglas Watkins ; Lieutenants, Joseph Schalek, Victor Hartley, Juan Rodriguez, Andrew Scott, Safety Officer, John Pikolycky. Administrative Officers are: President, Victor Hartley; Vice President, Juan Rodriguez; Secretary, Gage Maldonado; Assistant Secretary, Samuel Caraballo, Jr.; Treasurer, Joseph Schalek. “As always I thank our volunteer fire firefighters for their tireless and dedicated efforts in continuing to keep our community safe and secure, and congratulate their officers” said Mayor Pikolycky. “We recently received a capital improvement grant from the State of New Jersey in the amount of $400,000 that will make upgrades and repairs to our historic firehouse.”
