WOMAN RECEIVES SERIOUS INJURY FROM PIT BULL ATTACK

Lower_Township_PoliceLower Township Police say that a local pet shop owner was attacked by a pit bull. Authorities say Patsy Nelson received very serious bite to her arm and hip as a result of the attack. The Lower Township Animal Control Officer, Donald Montgomery, issued local ordinance summonses to the dog’s owner, Donald Titus, for failure to license his dog, owner’s dog causing serious injury to another person, potentially dangerous dog summon. The pit bull was taken to the Cape May County Animal Shelter to be quarantined for at least 10 days under the potentially dangerous dog statute.
