WINTER STORM WARNING POSTED; 8-12 INCHES OF SNOW LIKELY MONDAY

winter_storm_warningThe National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Warning for Cape May County from Sunday at 9:00pm through Monday at 4:00pm.  The storm will begin as a little bit of rain Sunday evening and switch over to ice and then all snow during the daytime on Monday.  Accumulating snow is expected Monday morning through early afternoon with snowfall totals between 8-12 inches for our region.  Driving is expected to be very difficult during the daytime on Monday.  It is very likely there will be event cancellations involving school districts, events, and high school basketball playoffs.  Continue to monitor WCZT and 987thecoast.com for up to date information during this storm event.
