WIND PROJECT FOR OFFSHORE ATLANTIC CITY DUMPED BY STATE

An offshore wind energy product to be located near coast of Atlantic City is out of gas, and dead.  The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has again scrubbed the proposed Fisherman’s Energy wind proposal because it costs too much money, provides little benefit, and is dangerous to sea birds.  There were local lobbying efforts in this region for the past nine years in behalf of the project.
