WILDWOODS REMIND PHILADELPHIA THAT SHORE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

The Wildwoods are making a serious effort at bringing everyone back down the shore this weekend. The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority hired a banner plane to fly over Philadelphia for three hours on Thursday reminding potential tourists that the shore and beaches are open for business. Tourism leaders have been trying to reach out to tourists to return, following Hurricane Irene. Some have made their way back, but tourism officials are looking for a big Labor Day weekend.
