WILDWOOD POLICE UPDATE STORY ON MAN WHO MADE CONTACT WITH POWER LINES

A Middle Township man was taken to the hospital on Monday to be treated after coming in contact with electrical wires. Police say that 62-year-old Tilemahos Mavridis was involved in the incident at 3220 Boardwalk. Mavridis was transported to the Cape Regional Medical Center and police say his condition is currently unknown. He was suffering from chest pains. Power was knocked out to around 1,000 homes and businesses in the nearby area. Atlantic City Electric responded immediately to the scene to begin restoring power.
