WILDWOOD: OUR MERCANTILE LICENSE ORDINANCE IS LEGAL

wildwood logoWildwood’s strict ordinance that regulates rental  properties is perfectly legal.  The city issued a press release stating that a New Jersey Superior Court judge has ruled that Wildwood’s new ordinance is legal and the city can require a stringent set of tests before a mercantile license is valid.  Rental properties must now obtain approvals from the chief of police, fire official, and code enforcement officer.  The ruling was made Monday by Judge Julio Mendez.
