WILDWOOD MAY KEEP BARS OPEN ANOTHER HOUR LATER THIS SUMMER

The city of Wildwood will likely try an experiment later this summer, keeping bars open an extra hour until 4am. The city commission heard from bar owners during their meeting on Wednesday night; the owners say an extra hour of operation will generate more revenue in tough economic times. The commission could authorize at its next meeting an experimental plan that will allow bars and nightclubs to stay open that extra hour. The measure will come up for a vote at a meeting on June 23rd.
