WEST WILDWOOD PASSES BUDGET WITH NO INCREASE

A new municipal budget has been approved in West Wildwood that does not include an increase to the local purpose tax. The $2.4 million budget was approved on a first reading on May 10. The total amount raised by taxes is $1.4 million. The budget includes an anticipated “Administrator/Clerk” position to replace to current clerk. A public hearing on the spending plan is scheduled for June 11. at 7 p.m.
