WEST WILDWOOD FAILS TO GET COVERAGE FOR EXPENSIVE COP SETTLEMENT

West Wildwood has failed in its attempt to get insurance coverage for an expensive financial settlement regarding a lawsuit with police employee Jacquelyn Ferentz.  The Borough will have to pay over $1 million to handle the claim which was finalized via a summary judgement decision in court last week.  As a result, the Borough is expected to continue with its employee furlough program in order to generate the funds needed to satisfy the lawsuit.
