WEST CAPE MAY TRIES AGAIN AT SELLING LIQUOR LICENSES

West Cape May officials are once again trying to open up two liquor licenses in the community. Mayor Pam Kaithern told Coastal Broadcasting that the Commission is planning to see if interest can be drummed up. Kaithern said it would both bring money into the borough and help local business. An ordinance was passed in 2009 to have liquor licenses, but the price tag was too high to get anyone to purchase when a first effort was made.
