WELCOME TO 2018: COLDEST NEW YEAR’S DAY EVER IN NEW JERSEY

2018 starts with the coldest New Year’s Day ever recorded in New Jersey.  Overnight temperatures hit 6 degrees in Newark, and reached the single digits at the shore, even until about 8am today.  A wind chill advisory remains in effect for Monday morning.
