Longtime play-by-play announcers Brent Musburger and Bob Uecker and Bob Ryan, a 42-year veteran of the Boston Globe, were voted  into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Hall of Fame. The three will be enshrined in Salisbury on May 16.

Joining Musburger, Uecker and Ryan will be 2010 National Sportscaster of the Year Mike Tirico of ABC and ESPN, and 2010 National Sportswriter of the Year Peter King of Sports Illustrated during the NSSA’s 52nd Annual Awards Weekend, May 14-16.

Williams won for the third straight year and seventh time overall. He anchors Prime Events’ coverage of high school sports on the radio and online.
