Saturday, a very proud day for Wildwood High School as both the boys and girls basketball teams advanced to South Jersey Group I championship games. On the boys side, Wildwood knocked off Glassboro for its third consecutive road playoff win, 57-53. The boys’ team hasn’t visited a South Jersey final in more than three decades. The title game will be Tuesday night against Haddon Township, or Clayton.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Warriors defeated Schalick, 42-31. Maddie McCracken had 23 points in the Wildwood victory. The Lady Warriors will play for a South Jersey title Monday night against either Haddon Township, or Palmyra.
