VOTERS TO GET SAY ON MINIMUM WAGE DEBATE

Voters will get their say on the minimum wage issue. The legislature passed a measure to ensure that the issue will be placed on the ballot this November. Gov. Chris Christie had vetoed the bill previously and tried to offer a compromise, but the Democrats went straight for the ballot question. Democratic leaders want future increases tied to the consumer price index.
