VOTER TURNOUT EXPECTED TO BE LOW THIS EVENING

Voter turnout in the Garden State is expected to be low during Tuesday’s midterm elections.  Political analysts say that despite good weather, voter turnout has been low throughout the state and only about one third of registered voters may cast ballots in the election.  Democrats around the state are confident that they will keep control of both branches of the New Jersey Legislature, the Assembly and the Senate.  There are tightly contested races in the 1st and 2nd Districts here at the shore.  Polls close at 8:00pm.
