VINELAND POLICE LOSE OVERTIME PAY, SAVE JOBS

An agreement has been reached to save 10 police jobs in Vineland. Mayor Robert Romano and Police Chief Timothy Codispoti have eliminated $300,000 in overtime pay to save the jobs, according to The Daily Journal. The move will save 10 patrolman’s jobs. The city is looking at raising taxes eight cents because of a huge shortfall.
