An accident in Lower Township involved a vehicle hitting a tree on Saturday. The Press of Atlantic City reports that police believe that the driver’s diabetes might have played a role in the incident. The accident took place near Fischer Creed Rd. The unidentified man was not hurt but was taken to an area hospital for precautionary reasons.
