VAN DREW SPONSORS BILL TO REPEAL REALTY TRANSFER FEE

vandrew_colorCape May County State Senator Jeff Van Drew says its time to repeal the realty transfer fee in the Garden State.  He has signed on new legislation that would repeal the fee on or before July 1st, 2015.  Van Drew says residents should not be hit with another tax when they sell their property.  Some funding from the realty transfer fee in New Jersey supports the state’s beach nourishment efforts.
