VAN DREW SAYS BUDGET PROPOSAL WOULD CONTINUE UEZ

The budget proposal that was put together by Democrats and will be voted on this week includes continuing the UEZ zones. Gov. Chris Christie had proposed closing the program down. The two zones in the 1st District that would be impacted is Millville/Vineland, and Wildwood. Democrats have been pushing to continuing funding improvement projects, even if the local physical offices are closed.
