VAN DREW REMAINS CONFIDENT DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER CAN BE SAVED

vandrewOne man continues to be confident that the Vineland Developmental Center can be saved. State Senator Jeff Van Drew told Coastal Broadcasting that he thinks a task force program will be approved by Gov. Chris Christie to look at which development center should have to close. There are seven centers total in the state. Van Drew has felt the financial hardship is too much for Vineland to stand, with around 1,000 jobs expected to be lost. A decision is expected this month.
