UPPER TWP. AGAIN DISCUSSES SCHOOL REPAIRS

A special meeting in Upper Township Monday night to talk about some needed repairs to school buildings.  The Board of Education met to discuss an upcoming vote in the community that will ask voters to spend nearly $16 million to repair both the middle and primary schools.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the state of New Jersey would absorb 40 percent of the costs if voters approve the spending.  The voting will take place on January 24th, and the issue is being split into two questions.
