UPPER TOWNSHIP SCHOOL BONDS TO HIT REFERENDUM ON TUESDAY

Nearly $16 million is going to be asked from voters during a special referendum in Upper Township. Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday regarding two separate ballot questions that total $15.9 million in improvements to the primary and middle schools there. The state will pay for 40 percent of the work. In total, residents would be on the hook for $9.5 million. Polls are open from 3 to 9 p.m.
