UPDATE: SPIRIT AIRLINES FLIGHTS CANCELLED THROUGH THURSDAY

The following is an official statement from Spirit Airlines regarding the cancellation of all flights on the airline through Thursday.  Spirit Airlines pilots staged a job action last weekend, and the airline is shut down.  Spirit Airlines is the major carrier at the Atlantic City International Airport:

Therefore, Spirit Airlines flights are cancelled for Saturday, June 12 – Thursday, June 17, 2010. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you are scheduled to fly Spirit on Saturday, June 12 – Thursday, June 17, 2010, we would like to offer you a flight credit for the full amount of the unflown portion of your trip that is valid for one year from the original booking date. Spirit will also provide you a $100 voucher for future travel for your inconvenience and to thank you for your continued support.
