UPDATE: PLANE CRASH IS NOW A “RECOVERY” EFFORT

An airplane crash in the ocean Wednesday morning near the Cape May Point Lighthouse is now being treated as a recovery operation.  New Jersey State Police and the United States Coast Guard are looking for the body of the man who was piloting the plane when it went down Wednesday.  The aircraft left the Trenton-Robbinsville Airport in Mercer County; the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
